July 2, 2008 Disney recently revised vague press release Walt Disney Treasures: Wave 8. Destino, 2003 realization of a long-unfinished Walt Disney/Salvador Dali animated short, has been dropped. The Chronological Donald, Volume 4 and Dr. Syn, Alias The Scarecrow are still scheduled release November 11th. Comments from Disney and Leonard Maltin suggest Destino, long anticipated DVD earlier planned release in Walt Disney's Legacy Collection, still to show up in future, not as a Treasure in 2008.

Thank you so much for posting this! I understood at one point Disney was going to release Destino on DVD, but I've yet to see it happen. Dali is my favorite artist. My son's middle name is "Salvador" in honor of Dali. Cheers to you with soft cheese and ants dreaming in nuclear pools and elephants!

um... sorry baabe but theres so much more of dalis art in this video thanthere is of disney's. the melting clocks, ants, ballerinas. This is only half of what Dali can dish out for you.learn your art history and learn that no disney movie could top what you just saw. all that symbolism is thanks to dali

dude! it pisses me off that Dali and Disney never finished makingthis into a whole movie! T_T our culture needs more art!and about this being copyright, i dont know about the rules of photograghy at the luve (i know i spelt it wrong) but as long as people know that SALVIDORE DALI...and disney ...ARE THE SHIT!!!
