Among the members of the band: Buster Bailey who plays clarinet solo, Ramon "Moncho" Usera who plays a solo sax and one of the violin players, Oscar Madera, are from Puerto Rico ; Wendell Culley and Clarence Brereton, trumpets; Edward "Jelly" Coles, tuba and Wilbur de Paris, plays trombone. Comedians Flournoy E. Miller & Mantan Moreland play night watchmen in a haunted pawn shop.
