I just bought Arena this past weekend..and I wanted the lead vocal up on this mix as well,..was dissapointed in his decision to blend it the way he did, but losing his voice? There's plenty of in your face lead vocals that prove that idea false...Lots of cool surprises on this brilliant record...I just love all of it...As a friend of mine said, absolutely *no* filler..

Not to belabor the point, but Todd often took the opportunity to announce "Courage" as a guaranteed crowd pleaser during the recent tour. It's too bad the CD version is unlikely to captivate any unbiased listener because care and attention seem to be lacking in the quality of the final mix.

I've been listening to this song on youtube for several months. got the cd and and it sounds terrible. Sorry. but it does. It sounds like the vocals are diminished. Almost like a bad engineering job. I don't know... maybe he is losing his voice. That would be ashame. anyone else think the same about difficulties hearing the vocals. Maybe my hearing is going?

joel200337 - I agree with you on the 'fade' out on the end of this song on the album - but to me it doesn't take away from this song. Great, classic Todd. It is getting some airplay in Chicago on WXRT. This is a great record. I think this song is my favorite so far.

One of the better songs from "Arena". I was hoping this might be one that would be radio friendly, but in my opinion, the CD version lacks audio quality. The simplistic programmed drum beat on the CD version diminishes the great vocal and guitar performance. The abrupt fade-out at the end is also a bit disappointing - but I digress... great video.
