I did this before hearing the "reprise" version, and I can't say how it would have effected my choice of chords. The G chord I didn't use can be found in my "alternate" version, along with the C#7 chord. If anyone wants to contact me, they can leave me comments, and I'll respond accordingly.

This is really fantastic!! You've really done a lot of work and the piano adds a lot to the song. Very like a French movie, like she says!

Hi from Spain, Fingerjazz! I'm also a musician as you. Once I've heard your cover, I think that couldn't be able to listen the same song without the piano :(don't you have an mp3 of that? I've became an addicted! A very good job, man!

Lovely. very nice to hear your choice of chords. Ofcourse, different chords give a melody a whole new interpratation. Yours make it sound light, matter-of-fact and "pensive", fitting the words beautifully. I do the same when preparing to do a remix; I sit at the piano, put the acapella on repeat and play along untill I find what I like. But then I translate the chords into a pop / dance mix. If you like, check out my choice of chords for my Matt Mix of this song. Matt Pop.

That's pretty amazing - I had no idea what was going on till I read the comments. Her expressions make it look like she can hear you - she has an incredibly expressive face.Reminds me of real class like Keely Smith......
