Saw this song performed live by Rush at the Carrier Dome in Syracuse in 1983 during the Grace Under Pressure tour - when I was fifteen. It was my first ever rock concert. A very smart band!

I'm in an extreme metal band, and we were looking at non metal songs that would be good covers. This was the only song I refused to change. The other ones, Civil War by Guns N' Roses and Perfect Enemy by t.A.T.u (that wasn't my idea), I didn't mind, but I wouldn't change this one at all.Of course, my vocals are completely different from Geddy's, so the Rush version is INFINITELY better. I have their starman logo hanging on my door.

They have tremendous abilities. So many bands have to quit after they a few years because they get older and can't write the same stuff they did when they started out. This is a perfect example of how Rush is different. They turned their maturity into an advantage. They're fucking... great. Just awesome.

Rush is a cult band. You either love them or hate them. I've talked to both sides. I fucking love them!! Powerful song this is. Some cannot even fathom alot of their songs.
