I watched a video of travis explaining the double backflip and if you watch it in slow motion or just pay close attention you can see he finishes the first flip before he reaches his highest point so that he can see how much more time he has, then he throws in the 2nd flip

Yeah, That could have worked, He should have had a planTravis Pastrana had a bail-out plan on the double backflip if the rotations didn't come around, he should have had a stick with it plan and a bail-out plan, Im suprised he didn't because Pastrana was coaching him on it.

oh yeah, the landing would have been nasty, but he could have done it, what he should have done was stuck with it and at the last possible moment just hug the handle bars
