Boy Chick sure has packed on the pounds lately. Anyway, Hiromi definitely has the technical chops but she doesn't have Chick's combined soul and technical depth.

its all good, shes skilful and excelent, however, i heard 20 minutes of this and am still waiting for the master to speak...she sounds comprehensible from a vocabulary standpoint, and chick sounds unreal and fantastic, for more than 30 years... but she preached to the pope here...most of the time he is comping and she is speaking, and i wonder why she didnt want to hear what he had to say, cause all in all she gave him no space...

Hiromi and Chick Corea did another concert together a few months ago in Tokyo for JVC. It should be released on DVD this spring.
