Listening to this suggests that the piano version was an attempt by the composer to capture the flavour of guitar playing. (the strummed cords are much less user friendly for a pianist) I think this performer (with the transcriber's help) provides something that works better than any of the piano versions I have heard. I'm not saying I like all her performances without question, but this is great. The nuance of dynamics and touch should be a model for any pianists trying to perform this.
