really? thats odd. nabokov wrote the screenplay for it, according to imdb. i never saw kubrick's version.

this is more similar to the book then the first movie Lolita which had a couple of differences added.

I remember reading the book when I was eleven, and I've just reread it the other day now that I'm fourteen. It's funny to read through Humbert's eyes, knowing that I could have been one of the little girls he'd watch in the park or glance at while passing by. This movie seems a little iffy, and I hope it does the book justice. It really is one of my favorites.
