well I don't know in spain but here in Mexico I think that there are few or any stations like this one (with that I am not saying that the US people are lazy, I like americans! my aunt is american and that's all) XD I found this video because I have to do an experiment for scient and technology week :S

It is common for a woman to reach back into the car to get a bag or wallet we don't all have everything in our back pocket.Ithink the person was very lucky I'm a person who cannot even touch the ignition key without getting a shock,I can only close the door using the glass in the window, it is a real worry.

they really should ban those automated gas pumps, its completely dangerous. they dont have them in the UK , i mean how lazy are americans that they cant stand for what 10-20 seconds??

Why do a lot of people get back in their car when they are filling up the tank! Damn. That's the principal cause of gas station fire. Plus, DONT FUCKEN REMOVE THE PUMP FROM THE CAR, that would feed the fire. It didnt do that in this case, I guess that dumbass was pretty lucky.

Thank you for posting this up. You don't know how many of us fuel attendants have the sort of problem where people just don't believe us when we say this WILL happen.

I have to disagree with how you criticize her for running away from the car. I think that was the best thing for her to do, because her life is more important than the car. The only mistake she made was building up an another charge from where she went to sit in the car for the 2nd time, and did not discharge herself before dealing with the gas. If it was me, I'd leave the car to find a fire extinguisher to put the fire out, or alert the gas station clerk.
